Site Management and Connections

The ETO web site is owned and operated by Management Technology Associates, a "virtual enterprise" led by Horace Mitchell [profile] and focused on the commercial, economic and social opportunities and issues presented by the emerging Global Networked Economy.

Home Site of the European Telework Development Initiative

A large proportion of the material at the ETO site is presented and managed by the European Telework Development Initiative, in which Management Technology Associates is one of the partner organisations. The ETD team is listed at http://www.eto.org.uk/etd/etd-team.htm.

Dr David Skyrme [profile] of David Skyrme Associates has overall responsibility for the Initiative's Online and Public Media activities.

Site Contributions

Many people and organisations contribute to the wealth of information, advice, useful links and helpful connections provided at the ETO website - where appropriate the contributors are named in the individual pages. If you have useful information or views on telework, teletrade or telecooperation contact eto-info@eto.org.uk to discuss how your contribution can be made available through the ETO site and networks.

Day to Day Site Management

The ETO content and presentation has been refined and further developed by Alan McCluskey - alan@connected.org, editor of "connected" on http://www.connected.org/.

Technology and Internet Services

The Web technology support, servers and Internet connectivity for the ETO site are provided by Loud-n-Clear.Com Limited - http://www.loud-n-clear.com/.

Join the ETO Site Team

The ETO Site Team has regular opportunities for additional people to help us develop and maintain the worlds largest and busiest site focused on telework, teletrade and telecooperation. People usually get involved on a voluntary, part-time basis, providing some of their time and skill in exchange for opportunities to learn about our subject areas and make useful connections and new friendships. If you show the right characteristics to make a successful teleworker and online networker this can sometimes lead to paid work or to participation in ETD or other innovative projects and initiatives.

If you'd like to explore this opportunity, then take part in our call for helpers

Commercial Opportunities

The ETO site connects to and is regularly used by telework decision makers and technology and services buyers from across Europe and world wide. During 1997 the ETD Initiative will provide opportunities for suppliers of relevant products and services to work with us to accelerate understanding and use of the "technologies of telework", and create new market opportunities for your marketing, sales and distribution channels. If you want to be informed about these opportunities as soon as they are announced please complete the Registration of Interest Form. If you want to be in on the planning stages please write to us now at eto-info@eto.org.uk.

European Commission Support

The ETD Initiative is supported by the European Commission (DGXIII) as part of the ACTS programme - Advanced Communications Technologies and Services.
