Romanian Telework Society (Societatea Romana pentru Telelucru - SRT) assure the open development, evolution and use of the Information Society and telework for the benefit of all people.

• Main projects of Romanian Telework Society:

  • Severin on-line: to develop a local on-line community (including web site, forum, mailing list and ezine)

  • ONG Romania: a project for the Romanian nongovernmental organizations (including web site, NGO Directory, Romanian NGO pages, forum, mailing list and ezine)

• Promoting Teleactivities Awards

Telework Server: belongs to the National Institute for Research and Development in Computers. For the time being, it present only an overview of teleworking.

Information Pack: Research on the Information Technology and Communications. New ways of work, teleworking

ETD Coordinator for Romania

Nicolae Sfetcu is the Romania ETD coordinator and can be contacted by e-mail. The ETD National Coordinator provides an important link between the activities of the ETD initiative and telework, teletrade and telecooperation programmes in Romania.

Nicolae Sfetcu is also President of Romanian Telework Society, President of the General Association of Engineers in Romania - Mehedinti Branch, which promote teleworking, teletraining and telecooperation, Manager of AmaCom SRL, based mainly on teleservices, and a dedicated teleworker.
