Meanwhile here is some initial information, including details of the Finnish national coordinator for ETD, local contact points for ETD, European information and WWW links.
There are quite a few telework projects going on in Finland, both European
initiatives and national ones. Here are some basic links (in Finnish as

A speech the President of Finland gave in March 1997 on the Information Society
For those with email and www access, the main ETO
website provides European and International information in English and some
of this information will be available in local languages as the network
of ETO site develops.
For those without email and www access, ETD provides a first point of enquiry
for information about the Initiative and about current and future activities
in Finland - people contacting the enquiry point will be sent basic information
together with a Registration of Interest form.

The ETD National Coordinator provides an important link between the activities
of the ETD Initiative and telework, teletrade
and telecooperation programmes in Finland. Lars
Tollet and Taitoverkko are interested in learning about existing and
planned regional and local initiatives. They are also keen to gather opinions
and questions from executives and policy makers on local or national factors
that inhibit understand and effective application of tele-activities.
