Si buscas información en español, dirígete a esta página.
The
European Telework Online website, and the Spanish
Telework Association website have been selected between the most
interesting websites by the Thematic Directory Telépolis,
oriented towards Spanish and Latin American markets.
This page will give you a flavour of the teleworking initiatives and activities carried out in Spain. For further information in regard to these aspects, please follow the corresponding link, or address your queries to the Spanish Telework Association.
The Spanish Telework Association (Asociación Española de Teletrabajo, AET, http://www.ciberteca.es/aet/) is currently working in several projects for its membership. In particular, some of them are addressed to offer new opportunities to actual or future teleworkers, and to increase awareness among several companies and industries about the new challenges presented by the Information Society in Spain.
The ETD National Coordinator provides an important link between the activities of the ETD Initiative and telework, teletrade and telecooperation programmes in Spain. AET is interested in learning about existing and planned regional and local initiatives. It is also keen to gather opinions and questions from executives and policy makers on local or national factors that inhibit understand and effective application of tele-activities.

Activities
There are many activities in which AET is involved. In particular, we want to remark the following:
- Project TURISTA
http://www.ciberteca.es/aet/turista.htm
TURISTA (Urban and Rural Telework for Touristic Services and Industries) is a project carried out by AET to help SMEs of the Turistic Sector in Spain to estimulate their activities through the implementation of telework. It is a DDI initiative co-financed by SMEs General Directorate in Spain.
- Formación y Teletrabajo (FyT) (Training and Teleworking)
http://www.ciberteca.es/aet/fyt/
A group of members of AET is currently working on a voluntary basis to do a research work on the needs of training for potential teleworkers, and on how to implement a tele-training experience considering these needs. Further info is available at the site.
