ACTSline (ACTS)
Established to promote the results of ACTS (Advanced Communications Technologies and Services programme of the EU) and interpret them for particular business sectors. Considerable information is available through the project's website.

Audis (ESPRIT)
Audis is developing and testing a multipurpose AUditory DISplay for 3-D Hearing Applications. Techniques of "virtual acoustics" are being used to enhance the audio channel to significantly enhance what can be conveyed to application users. There are many potential applications, expecially in the context of future wearable and personal systems. BIC: Blueprint for Interactive Classrooms (Telematics (TAP))
The Blueprint for Interactive Classrooms project is about designing and building interactive classrooms for teaching distant learners using various audio-visual technologies which allow teachers and learners to interact over a variety of telecommunications networks in a cost-effective and pedagogically sound manner. As at Spring 1999 the products developed by the BIC consortium are being used and demonstrated.

Cesar - Collaboration Environments and Service Architectures for Researchers (ESPRIT)
Aims to provided a toolkit for asynchronous and synchronous multimedia collaboration based on Internet and World Wide Web technology. The project is focused on the assembly and integration of state-of-the-art technology to enable a smooth transition between asynchronous and synchronous modes of cooperation, closely integrated into the normal working environments of the users.

CITRONE: Customising Interfaces Through Three-Dimensional Reconstruction of Objects in a Network Environment (ESPRIT)
The Citrone project aims develop a software only tool capable of providing real-like 3D face models of the user. Once those models are obtained, they can be animated using motion capture data obtained by third party components.

CrossFlow: Cross-Organisational WorkFlow Management (ESPRIT)
CrossFlow is a two year project which started on the 22 September 1998. The project will investigate the problems associated with Cross-Organisational WorkFlow Management and develop the infrastructure necessary to facilitate the dynamic set-up of business relationships based on such workflows.

Denema - Development of New Market for Telematics Products in Central Asia (Telematics (TAP))
A project focused on the organisation of new direct contacts between health care, education and business professionals in Central Asia and telematics applications developers in Western Europe using new telecommunications. The project aims to determine which technologies are most efficient in these fields in Central Asia and how these technologies could increase the quality of the services.

ECaTT - Electronic Commerce and Telework Trends (ESPRIT)
The ECaTT project is designed to generate representative information on the current prevalence and spread of electronic commerce and new forms of work among the European workforce together with an up-to-date compilation of major practices, projects and schemes across Europe. The major sources of information for the results of ECaTT will be a set of case studies of organisations with leading-edge experience in each of the areas under study, a survey of the employed and employable population and consumers in Europe, and a survey of decision-makers in businesses and other organisations in Member States.

Gipseca (INCO-DC)
The project is researching the organisation and development of educational multimedia material for use on Internet. Partners include several European and Mediterranean institutions. The focus is a teaching scheme for the integration of a number of engineering disciplines under the generic theme of Systems Engineering, and design and implemention of an interactive and networked multimedia package for use in academia and industry.
