Future for BIC: continue to exploit the classrooms and facilities developed - moved into mainstream work, handbook and web site and expertise and networks of experience developed
Future for AVDienst: next IST call, probably in support type activities, probably in training and aplication of new technbologies in education and training, probably in higher education sector, probably in asynchronous as well as synchronous technologies, continue in advisory and consultancy role, network of partners will survive informally anyway….
BUT IN GENERAL TERMS…..suggestions include
1. Improving the situation regarding concertation meetings, report on past experience, hear repeated problems and little communication from old to new - projects afraid to be too honest, atmosphere of one-upmanship! Stigma of failure - difference between concertation meeting and conferences which are public events...
2. Support key relation ship between project officer and project co-ordinator, we have been really lucky! but - projects officers too busy, can’t visit - could play important role in filtering of information and identification of what is worthwhile
3. See more horizontal networking and support for collaboration, make the process of additional support for such activities easier - no more paperwork!
E,g, we work with Universities and Higher Ed institutions - so do lots of others…..some form of information exchange
