These facilities are provided by European Telework Online with additional support from the European Telework Development Initiative.
The purpose of this resource is to facilitate discussion and planning among groups of individuals who are working on various aspects of European Telework Development.
By using this approach we hope to minimise the effort to participate and make it easy to bring in new participants to particular topics, and for participants to select the parts of the discussion where they can make the best contribution without having to receive all messages on all topics, maintain local archives etc.
The topics are as shown below.
The email addresses for the lists are set up as etd-xxx@eto.org.uk, where xxx is the topic concerned. The email address for each list is shown after the topic name below, for example etd-tw@eto.org.uk is the Telework list.
The related www page showing the discussion archive is similarly named, with the main url being http://www.eto.org.uk/igs - for example: http://www.eto.org.uk/igs/etdtw is the archive for the Telework discussion.
Each email list is associated with a list server address, to which commands can be sent (eg join or leave the list), but this facility is also provided via a simple www interface. The server address for all lists is etd-igs-request@eto.org.uk.
