The DIPLOMAT and ETD projects can contribute to find the appropriate endorsement organisations. A first organisation to consider could be the Telematics Programme, as a good sample of distributed multi-site software development.
To describe the different solutions available for multi-site software development, either in a multi-site corporation or in multiple distributed companies collaborating in a same development effort.
The multi-site software development process can be improved by the use of telework when supported by appropriate applications and networking technologies and services. The TECODIS project main objective is to demonstrate this. Thus, the experiences gained by the process can be made known to the related industrial sector. The guideline will then recommend different types of technologies (applications and networking), present the techno-economic implications for all of them and present the expected evolution based on the own project's experience.
This is the first version to be presented to the GAT chain.
