New Methods of Work
Focus Workshop

Paris, 23 February 1999, 10.00 am - 4.30 pm

Guidance for those wishing to make a short intervention

One aim of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for participants to better understand the IST Programme and - in particular - the New Methods of Work theme. Another is to help participants to develop good project ideas and to identify potential partners who can help them devise and present a successful proposal. To this end participants are encouraged to make a brief intervention during the afternoon session and to provide for other participants some indications of their interests and capabilities.

To allow for discussion and questions, interventions should be of 5 minutes or less.

The format suggested is as follows:

Plus at least one of:

Both of these should relate in some way to the New Methods of Work theme. You should indicate on your registration that you wish to make an intervention - priority for places at the workshop will be allocated to those who intend to contribute in this way.

If you already registered and wish to add or reinforce your intention to make an intervention, please email Christian Van Asbroeck (vanasbroeck@compuserve.com) - do NOT re-register!

A one-page summary of your organisation profile and interests and/or proposal ideas can be included in the outputs of the meeting, if sent to Christian Van Asbroeck (vanasbroeck@compuserve.com) by 18 February 1999.
