the ACTS Telework Chain
(GAT - Generic Access, Telework - in ACTS parlance). ACTS is the European
Commission's research and technology development programme for Advanced
Communications Technologies and Services.
Primary membership of the ACTS Telework Chain is open to ACTS projects.
Comments about these pages are welcome from anyone, including non-members
of the Chain.

This is a Powerpoint 4 file (.ppt) containing a presentation given by Jeremy
Millard, Christian Van Asbroeck and Horace Mitchell on behalf of ETD and
the GAT Chain at a meeting of the TURA (Telematics in Urban and Rural Areas)
domain of the Telematics Application Programme (TAP), Brussels 12 February

which mentions two proposed Guidelines:

- ACTS Project GINA and the NI Chain have organised
a multi-location conference, MADEIRA '97 http://www.telscom.ch/madeira/index.htm,
focused on Network Interoperability. ETD (Horace Mitchell) has submitted
a proposal for a paper based on GAT Guideline GAT-G1- Telework: Interoperability
Guidelines, and posted the summary here.
- ACTS Horizontal Actions Domain:
the Horizontal Actions projects of ACTS work across the programme and
provide external links. The European Telework
Development Initiative is classified in ACTS as a
Horizontal Action.
