By plane

The closest international airport Bonn-Cologne is only 25 km away from Bonn City Centre. There are regular shuttle bus services to Bonn ( under DM 10 ) or you can take a taxi ( around DM 50 ). Visitors may also arrive at Düsseldorf airport which is about 50 km away from Bonn. From Düsseldorf airport take S-Bahn to Düsseldorf main station and then a train to Bonn ( possibly you would have to change in Cologne ). Frankfurt airport is some 160 km away and there are numerous train connections directly from the airport to Bonn main station. Most conference hotels are either within walk distance from the station and Beethovenhalle or a short taxi ride.

By train

Cologne main railway station is one of the major junction in the European railway system but also lot of international and InterCity trains stop in Bonn. There are numerous connections ( every 10 to 20 minutes ) from Cologne to Bonn.

By car

Arriving from the direction of A3 Autobahn follow the Bonn signs, get on the A565 and exit on Bonn-Nord/Auerberg. Arriving from the direction of A61 exit to A565 pass Bonn-Centre exit and then exit on Bonn-Nord/Auerberg. Arriving from A555 ( Cologne ) follow Siegburg signs and then exit on Bonn-Nord/Auerberg There are sufficient parking spaces available either in the conference hotels or in the public garages which are all over the city centre.

Beethovenhalle is located directly on the Rhein river, few hundreds yards from the Kennedy bridge. Holiday-Inn-Crowne-Plaza Hotel is directly on the bridge. Other conference hotels are also either within walking distance or reachable by public transportation - street cars.
