European Telework Week 1997Support Facilities at the ETO website |
This page summarises the facilities available here at the European Telework Online website for those who are organising or supporting activities in European Telework Week.
Add your event or activity to the Events Calendar
Where it can be seen by the tens of thousands of users of this site. Don't forget to mention that its an ETW97 activity (though all telework activities any time of the year can be entered in the calendar). Shortly there will be a special page for ETW97 events and activities - your event has to be in the calendar to be featured in that page.
Send an announcement to the ETO discussion and announcements lists
It will reach several hundred people, many of whom will pass it on to other networks. Just send a short notice with the basic details to eto-notices@eto.org.uk. Don't forget to provide contact details for public enquiries - preferably a web page URL or and email address.
Place a link here to your own website
Include the web URL in your calandar entry and it will be accessible through the calendar. If there is additional general telework information at your website tell us about your site and we will put it in our very popular pages of links.
Put up a web-page at the ETO site with details of your event or activity
If you don't have web facilities and you want to have information about your ETW97 event or activity online where people can look at it, give us the details and we'll create a page for you here. Please note that you must put it in the events calendar first!
(Note that first you must complete the general
Registration of Interest
form.)
The ETW97 Focus Group is for those who want to be
actively engaged in plans and preparations for the
Week's activities.
Join the ETO discussion or announcement list
If you just want to be kept informed but you don't want to be involved in planning for ETW97 you should join either the discussion list or the announcements list.
Connect with ETW97 activities in your country
By contacting your ETD national coordinator.
Additional facilities
We will add extra facilities to this list as we learn more about what is required. The main way of contributing to requirements and planning is through the ETW97 Focus Group.
