European Telework WeekEuropean Telework Awards 1997 |
The European Telework Awards are supported by the partners in the European Telework Week programme, including the European Commission, the European Telework Development (ETD) initiative, industry representatives and National ETW97 orchestrators.
The awards will be presented to organisations that, in the opinion of the evaluators, have made outstanding contributions to Telework development in Europe.
Any organisation was allowed to nominate itself. Any organisation or individual was allowed to nominate another organisation, with the agreement of the nominated organisation.
The nominated projects will be evaluated by 21st September 1997, and a short-list of up to 3 candidates per category will be announced. The short-listing process will be based on the submitted proposal. The evaluators may contact nominees for clarification.
Short-listed organisations/projects will be invited to prepare presentation material (this may be video, computer based presentation, depending on category) not exceeding 10 minutes in length, highlighting their achievements. The short-listed applicants may be asked to supply further information, or clarification. All short-listed nominees will be invited to participate in the award ceremony in Brussels during ETW '97. The organisers will meet travel and overnight accommodation costs one person for each organisation/project that is short-listed.
