European Telework Week 1997 - Information Day 18 April 1997

Working Session 3:
Support Mechanisms

Following the presentation of the framework of support offered, in the morning, Ian CULPIN, co-ordinator of European Telework Week support by ETD, invited participants to suggest additional support that may be needed. The following requests were made:

  1. Language support / translation of languages into English / from English
  2. A list of contact telephone numbers in all participating countries
  3. Information about sponsors
  4. Financial support, where local funds are not sufficient

Language support can be provided on a modest base by a volunteer network organised by ETD, for a limited number of languages. It can not be considered to be a basic facility.

In the information about ETW a list of national inquiry phone numbers will be included.

Information about sponsors at a European level will be provided in accordance to the agreement with these sponsors. A total list of contributors to ETW events will be published at several stages (please let us know which sponsors you secured for your events: we will give them visibility as contributors to European Telework Week) and kept update.

If local organisers have great plans, but also a hard time of making the final ends meet, the ETD team might support by assisting in finding ways to solutions. Donít hesitate to contact etw97-info@eto.org.uk.
