A Press Release from the Telecottage Association:

UK'S TELECOTTAGE ASSOCIATION LAUNCHES TELEWORK DIRECTORY RESEARCH IN EUROPEAN TELEWORK WEEK

The Telecottage Association, the world's largest teleworker, telecottage and telecentre user group is to produce the UK's first directory of teleworking opportunities. The guide will, for the first time, put together details of companies which operate teleworking schemes

The target market will be companies wishing to introduce teleworking schemes, and skilled teleworkers looking to relocate to companies using this type of flexible working.

'We do get a lot of interest from companies and employees in who is actually running teleworking schemes - when we started there wasn't so much to write about - now we believe the time is right, said Alan Denbigh Executive Director of the Association. 'We publish some information in our bi-monthly magazine, Teleworker, but publish the full guide separately.'

The Telecottage Association is committed to increasing access to work through the use of IT and telecommunications

The TCA is backed by BT, Apple Computer UK, the Rural Development Commission, the National Rural Enterprise Centre, and the Gulbenkian Foundation.
