Events in Italy


Italy is the host for one of European Telework Week's three "core" events:

Telework '95 Rome

The second European Assembly on Telework and New Ways of Working

Rome, 9-10 November 1995

Organised by the ECTF in association with the European Commission, the City of Rome and the European Trade Union federation. This two-day event will highlight the economic and social potential of telework and flexible working for creating New Employment Opportunities.

There will special presentations, focussed on Telework Practices and Global Competitiveness, highlighting the need for Europe to adapt and replace out-moded work practices as the global market becomes a reality. Speakers will include Mr Martin Bangemann, the European Union Commissioner for Industrial Affairs, Information Market and Telecommunications.


Venue:
The conference will be held at the Auditorium della Technica, Confederation of Italian Industry.

A special Members of Parliament summit will include contributions from Dorin & Christine Gauthier (CATRAL, Paris) and M.Lenoir (MP, France)

The Plenary session on Friday, November 10 will include contributions from:
