The same applies to the rest of labour market and to the expectations of people. At first sight this gap - in the size of the services sector - looks narrower. But concealed within the 73% figure is a high level of employment in tourism, which is labour intensive rather than technology intensive, while the 56% figure includes a high level of employment in financial and business services - one of the most information intensive activities.
