Discussion Places Focused On Telework

TW Europa Forum on CompuServe

This was Europe's first online discussion place for telework matters, supported from its inception in 1994 by the European Commission (DG XIII-B) and now the host forum in CompuServe for a wide range of European programmes. (GO TWEUROPA) in CompuServe's main access area.

If you are not a CompuServe subscriber and would like to know more about the TW Europa forum contact Paddy Moindrot , the forum manager (in CompuServe terms, the "WizOp"). Kevin Tea is the forum sysop.

TW Europa web site

This complements the CompuServe forum and is run by the same team, it includes a WWW based discussion facility. The discussion facility is currently home to discussion of the TELEMART project, which is investigating possibilities for brokering between teleworkers and potential customers or employers.

USENET Newsgroup - uk.business.telework

There is also a USENET Newsgroup uk.business.telework with intended emphasis on work related issues, not technical matters, although these will inevitably be discussed. This newsgroup became moderated at the end of 1997, this has resulted in a marked decrease in "Spam" and an increase in good healthy discussion of telework related matters.

Please note: the above link to uk.business.telework will only work correctly if you have configured your browser to handle newsgroups.
