Management Technology Associates (MTA) is a network of companies and individuals with specialist know how and skills in every aspect of the Networked Economy.

Formed in 1985 by Horace Mitchell, MTA has undertaken successful projects for the European Commission, national governments and commercial enterprises. The following partial list illustrates the range of competence and experience available:

Commercial market assessment
MTA associates provided market analysis and assessment for a telecommunications operator to assist in deciding their strategy with regard to Internet and added value online services
Commercial market entry preparation
MTA associates supported the team within a multinational tasked with developing a market entry strategy and plan for the Internet and online services markets
Targeted market research
Within six weeks from briefing to delivery MTA associates designed, tested, managed, analysed and reported on uptake and attitudes for a novel telecommunications product in a European national market
Market research supporting Government policies
MTA associates undertook a three month market study, including formal market research, the results of which were used by a European national government to support the business case for a major national Information Society initiative
Management of a supplier association
MTA associates provided a temporary director for a major national trade association covering IT and telecommunications. Responsibilities included representation to Government and the media, organising of events, negotiation of standard contract terms on behalf of the industry, organisation of market development programmes; the assignment led to appointment of a full time director following strategic development recommended by MTA
Marketing guidance in the cultural heritage field
MTA associates provided the market assessment and marketing planning aspects for the European Commission's first research and technology development project focused in the cultural heritage field; the project led to formation of a company to exploit the results; to confirmation of the importance of cultural heritage in Europe's information society strategy; to a successful programme of international conferences which now run each year in several countries; and to the implementation of novel technologies in world class museums
Longitudinal studies
MTA associates have undertaken successful longer term studies for Government and others, including a two year investigation of telework and its implications for national strategies and policies and an 18 month study of ways to accelerate the introduction of computers and Internet in schools
European Telework Development
MTA provides the programme direction for this successful current European initiative
Website development and delivery
MTA owns and operates the successful European Telework Online website; associates provide technical, design, content management; diagnostic, promotional and marketing services for successful websites in many countries
Government programme planning and implementation
